I Believe That You Should Love Yourself.
Just going to start with that No Nonsense statement. I believe in my soul that you are wonderful, complete and wonderful person that is worthy of being loved. Other people love you, so why shouldn’t you love yourself?
Is it because you don’t know how? A lot of us are taught how to hate ourselves, how to compare ourselves with other as a drive to progress and do well in society.
Maybe it is because you are confusing self love and arrogance? To love yourself is to be conceited, petty and un-liked right?!
Is it because you would feel like you are failing somehow by accepting yourself and finally being happy? Like that privilege isn’t for you?
Do you feel like you have NO IDEA where to start on the loving yourself spectrum? The very idea seems to far away that you have no idea how to get there.
There are so many reasons for you to not love yourself and there is only one reason to love yourself. So obviously, by sheer number of reasons, the former should win right? Well that depends on if you value quality or quantity. I value quality and I believe that the one reason to love yourself is worth an infinite of reasons why you shouldn’t.
What is the reason to love yourself that is so much better than all of my other reasons?
Because you have too.
It is time to let go of the idea that you aren't enough and embrace who you are. By getting your s**t together and getting into a mentally healthy and happy routine!
